When/where can I buy tickets?
1) Online: Online sales for tickets close 12 midnight prior to the screening (i.e. Film September 25 = Online closes September 24 at 11:59 pm).2) WFF Front Desk: Tickets are available at the Art Gallery of Hamilton during Gallery Hours.
3) At the Cinema: Our box office opens 45 minutes prior to each screening at the theatres.
4) Rush Line: In the event of a sell-out, unclaimed Festival Pass-held tickets are released for sale 15 minutes before the screening.
5) Phone: Phone sales are now closed. Questions? Call 905-527-6610 ext. 252 and leave a message (returned within 24 hours).
Should I risk lining up for a ticket before the screenings?
Visit Tickets + Passes for updates on popular films with the most pre-purchased tickets. Purchasing a ticket in advance is the best way to guarantee you a seat but there are tickets available at the door for purchase.How can I pay for my tickets at the theatre?
For fastest and most convenient service, we recommend you pay with cash. All venues also accept major credit cards (VISA, MC, AMEX). Debit is available only at select locations.Are tickets transferable or refundable?
All tickets and passes are transferable to other people for festival screenings where the original ticket/pass holder is not in attendance. Tickets and passes are non-refundable and have no cash value. Exchanges: Pre-purchased tickets to films or events of equal value can be exchanged prior to the date with a recorded proof of purchase.Can I reserve seats?
Numbered seating is not available. Please arrive early for best seat selection.How do I get to a cinema, party or event?

Can I submit a film for the festival?
The World Film Festival is not soliciting submissions for its 2011 festival. We are proud to present independent short-format films at our Cinema Hamilton Night (Thursday, September 29th), which screens the top three films of the city’s leading festivals: Hamilton24, Hamilton Film Festival, and Hamilton Music & Film Festival.
